Poetry

Every bit of poetry or poetic-sounding things I choose to share with you, my keyboard and stratosphere finds its origin from this page.

Quick run-down of my style/influences:

– I like old, English, big-grammar, esoteric stuff of largely male, African voices i.e. Wole Soyinka, Chinua Achebe, J. Pepper Clark Bekederemo, you see where this is going right? Right.

– Women and the feminine experience are my muses and feature recurringly.

– I like referencing stuff that launches the reader on a Google/Encyclopedia/Library search. Read a book. Explore, then come back and read the poem. Bliss.

– Sometimes, I just write whatever the heck my Chi decides to gift me with and act like I have a clue. I may just be as in the dark as you when it comes to what I wrote.

Hope you enjoy the reading. *Big Smile*

  1. I have never met anyone, not least of heard about anything like you. Ive spent my whole day at work just watching and listening to you on youtube, searching for more on you through the web. Its been just 11 hours now and Im already getting addicted to you. Please help me know you more, I want to know you more than just someone Ive seen on youtube. YOU HAVE A LIFE SAVING VOICE, AND I KNOW YOU WILL ONE DAY LEAD THE CHOIR IN HEAVEN!
